After the victory of Lanka, when Lord Ram returned home with Sita Mata, a ceremonial offering was organized. During the distribution, Lord Ram and Sita Mata were offering the prasad with their own hands. At that moment, some sages were sitting deep in thought. Lord Ram asked them what they were thinking about. The sages, with great devotion, replied, “Nothing, my Lord, but we believe that our wish will be fulfilled in the next era.” Lord Ram smiled and assured them, “That will surely happen.”
With this divine promise, the Dwapar era begins, where Lord Krishna manifests himself. Upon hearing the melodious tune of Krishna’s flute, Radha and her friends run towards him with joy. However, the Yamuna River was overflowing, blocking their way. Krishna then commands the waters to part, and a bridge appears over the Yamuna. Radha and her friends cross over joyfully and become deeply engrossed in dance and devotion.
