Jatraghat is the musical invocation performed at the very beginning of a Seraikela Chhau presentation. It is intended to invoke the deities and seek their blessings before the dance begins, thereby setting an auspicious and sacred atmosphere for the performance.

Arati offers a serene portrayal of night, capturing its calm, mysterious, and meditative qualities. Through measured movement and subtle expression, the dancers embody the tranquility of darkness and the quiet rhythm of the nocturnal world.
